World Refugee Day Celebration 2024
The Clarkston Community Center was honored to host World Refugee Day last Saturday, June 22, 2024, organized by the Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies. This event celebrated unity and cultural diversity with amazing performances, fashion, speeches, and food worldwide. It was extra special as we marked our building's 100th anniversary! 
From its origins as the segregated Clarkston High School, our center has become a diverse hub, serving over 60,000 people from 50+ nationalities. In 30 years, we’ve become one of DeKalb County’s most welcoming institutions. 
The day was filled with love, celebration, and cultural experiences. We can’t wait for next year!
