CCC After-School Quiet Zones 2.0
Our after-school elementary, middle and high school program was the result of an ongoing need to address many problems faced by young adults in their homes, schools, and social communities. By joining the after-school program, these students become confident around the issues they face on a daily basis like youth violence, cultural diversity, health inequities, and obstacles to educational attainment.
This program is being sponsored by the DeKalb County Youth Services and the Clarkston Community Center and is open to middle and high school students. If you know someone who may benefit, please have them complete the following registration application: CCC Afterschool Quiet Zones 2.0 Application
At this time we have in-person tutoring services for ALL DeKalb County students. Students have the opportunity to work with our volunteer tutors from Georgia State, Emory University, Georgia Tech University, and other partner organizations.
If you are interested in having your child(ren) partake in our weekly tutorial sessions, then please contact Kevin Burgen (Afterschool Youth Coordinator) at [email protected].
NOTE: Please stay up to date on DeKalb County's scheduling and protocols in terms of your child's schooling in regards to COVID-19 cases.
