Volunteers make it possible for our small staff to offer such a wide variety of programs and services! Whether you are looking for a one-time or on-going opportunity for yourself or a group, the Clarkston Community Center has many ways you can contribute, leave a positive impact, and make a difference.

Opportunities include aiding in the instruction of our English learner classes, supporting computer knowledge courses, or assisting with our various youth programs.

Job Description: Office Manager (Part-Time, 25 Hours Weekly)

Position Title: Office Manager
Organization: Clarkston Community Center
Location: Clarkston, GA
Hours: 25 hours per week (Part-Time)

Position Overview:
The Clarkston Community Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager with a background in accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks to support our mission of fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse communities. This part-time role ensures smooth daily operations, effective communication, financial accuracy, and administrative efficiency within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee office supplies inventory, ordering, and organization.
  • Support the Executive Director and other staff with administrative tasks, such as data entry, file management, and report preparation.
  • Process incoming mail, processing payroll through ADP, invoices, and donations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely responses.
  • Maintain and manage financial records using QuickBooks, including tracking expenses, processing payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Support grant applications, donor acknowledgments, and other fundraising initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in office administration, with a strong background in accounting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Clarkston Community Center.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with nonprofit financial management and donor management systems.
  • Familiarity with the Clarkston community and its diverse populations.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Compensation:
This is a part-time position offering competitive pay commensurate with experience.
