Celebrating Donnie Roseberry: A Legacy of Service

Clarkston Community Center is proud to celebrate two remarkable milestones for one of our most dedicated team members, Donnie Roseberry's 75th birthday and 14 years of service to our community.

For the past 14 years, Donnie has been a steady and reliable presence at the Center. While many people know him as the person who keeps our building running smoothly, those who work alongside him know his impact extends far beyond maintenance and repairs. His dedication, creativity, and commitment have helped make Clarkston Community Center the welcoming gathering place it is today.

Donnie joined the Center in 2012 and has played an important role in caring for our historic building and supporting the countless programs, events, and community activities that take place here each year. Whether he's repairing equipment, preparing spaces for events, tackling unexpected challenges, or helping staff find solutions, Donnie approaches every task with pride, professionalism, and a willingness to help.

One of Donnie's greatest strengths is his ability to quietly serve others without seeking recognition. He shows up every day ready to do whatever is needed to support the Center and the community we serve. His craftsmanship, resourcefulness, and attention to detail have saved the organization countless times over the years while helping ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.

Beyond his work, Donnie has become a beloved member of the Clarkston Community Center family. Staff, volunteers, tenants, instructors, and visitors know him as someone who is dependable, kind, and always willing to lend a hand. His positive attitude, sense of humor, and genuine care for others have left a lasting impression on everyone who have had the opportunity to work with him.

In recognition of his extraordinary contributions, Donnie was recently presented with the Clarkston Community Center Legacy Award. This award honors individuals whose dedication, service, and lasting impact have helped shape the Center's history and strengthen its future. Few people embody those values more than Donnie.

As we celebrate Donnie's 75th birthday and his 14 years of service, we recognize not only the work he has done, but also the character, generosity, and commitment he brings to the Center every day. His contributions have touched thousands of lives and helped create a stronger, more connected community.
