APAC Health Care Back-to-School Community Event Serves More Than 1,000 Neighbors

Clarkston Community Center was proud to partner with APAC Health Care for this year’s Back-to-School Community Event, welcoming more than 1,000 community members to the Center in support of local children and families.

Together, the event helped distribute 200 school backpacks filled with supplies, more than $3,000 worth of diapers and hygiene supplies, and more than 800 pairs of socks. Families also had access to 50 vision and hearing screenings for school-aged children, along with additional health checks including glucose, height, weight, and blood pressure screenings.

We are grateful to APAC Health Care for their partnership and commitment to serving families in the Clarkston area. Events like this reflect the power of collaboration and the impact we can make when community partners come together to support children, caregivers, and neighbors.
