Over the course of four weeks, participants will explore the fundamentals of both calligraphy and embroidery, guided by two talented local artists: Sajeda, who teaches traditional calligraphy techniques, and Aysha, who brings the delicate art of embroidery to life. Each weekly session is two hours long — with one hour dedicated to each art form — offering a rich, hands-on experience that builds week by week.

Calligraphy, the art of beautiful writing, has deep roots in history and is celebrated across cultures for its elegance and expression. Embroidery, one of the oldest forms of needlework, transforms simple fabric into art through patterns, textures, and color. In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn the basic strokes, tools, and techniques of both disciplines, with plenty of practice and personalized guidance. All materials are included — just bring your curiosity and creativity!

By the end of the month, participants will have completed their own calligraphy and embroidery projects, gained confidence in both mediums, and discovered how these traditional skills can still connect people and communities today.
