Help Paint the Future of Clarkston: Join the Community Mural Input Session

Clarkston, GA — Public art is taking root in Clarkston, and you’re invited to be part of the creative journey!

Dekalb County Super District 6 and District 4, in collaboration with the City of Clarkston and Living Walls, are thrilled to announce the next step in bringing a dynamic new mural to life at the underpass intersection of North Indian Creek Drive and East Ponce De Leon Avenue.

We're down to the final three artist finalists, and now it's time for the community to weigh in. This Thursday, May 1st from 6:30–8:30 PM, join us at Refuge Coffee Co. for a Community Mural Input Session. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to meet the artists, hear about their ideas, and share your own vision for what this mural should represent.

Your input will help shape the direction of the designs before the artists begin crafting their proposals. After the session, we'll reconvene for a final meeting to review the designs and vote on the artist who will bring this mural to life.

We understand there may have been some confusion, and we appreciate your patience as we move through this exciting community process. Jacob has been in touch with many of you already, and we apologize for any miscommunication.
