Clarkston Community Center Celebrates International Women’s Day with Art
The Clarkston Community Center hosted Behind the Global Women’s Gaze: Annual Art Exhibition in celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. Featuring artwork from 26 talented female artists, the exhibit showcased diverse perspectives through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.
Mayor Beverly Burks highlighted the role of art in community building and women’s empowerment, reinforcing Clarkston’s commitment to celebrating diversity through creativity.
