On July 3rd, the Clarkston Community Center hosted a powerful and heartwarming Art Therapy session during our monthly staff meeting—led by Atlanta-based multimedia artist and writer, Kelly Izdihar Crosby.

The theme of the day, “The Puzzle of Us,” invited each team member to create a personal artwork representing their individuality, values, and role within the CCC family. Using CCC’s logo colors and symbolic patterns, staff designed unique canvas pieces that, when brought together, formed a vibrant collective mosaic.

“A team is like a puzzle—each piece is unique, but together, we create a complete picture.”

Through this creative prompt, we reflected on what we each bring to the team—and what we need from one another to thrive. After completing our individual artworks, we gathered in a circle to share the meaning behind our pieces. The final step? Fitting the canvases together into a collective artwork symbolizing our unity, collaboration, and shared mission.
